The Scandic Silkeborg is a pink hotel set in gardens overlooking Langs� Lake in Jutland on the outskirts of Silkeborg, three kilometres from the centre. This three floor property features 117 guestrooms decorated in soft or neutral colours with contemporary furnishings in light wood. All guestrooms include satellite television with pay movies, Internet connections, direct dial phones, minibars, trouser presses, and bathrooms with hair dryers.
Housed in a spacious hall, the hotel's large swimming pool benefits from natural light and garden views and is open until midnight. After a refreshing dip guests can relax in the saunas or top up tans in the solarium. Those feeling energetic can head to the fitness room for a work out and guests travelling with kids will appreciate the play corner where children can play with toys and games whilst adults relax in nearby armchairs. In the summer the restaurant opens out onto an outdoor terrace that overlooks a duck pond. In the bar guests can relax with drinks or cocktails and take in garden views. Silkeborg city centre is three kilometres away and offers plenty of attractions including a fresh water aquarium and Hjeklen, the world's oldest paddle steamer. Karup Airport is 35 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.
