Location. The Dassia Chandris Hotel overlooks the Bay of Dassia and is surrounded by 24 acres of gardens. The hotel is situated 10 kilometres away from Corfu port and 11 kilometres from Corfu town centre. Corfu International Airport (CFU) is 12 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
Hotel Features. This modern resort hotel boasts its own private beach and a comprehensive fitness centre with spa tubs, two pools and poolside bar, sauna, gym and massage treatment room. Guests can visit the hair salon, games room and open air cinema, and children are catered for with a playground, club and kids' pool.
Dassia Chandris Hotel offers two dining options, the Amalthia Restaurant serves international dishes and overlooks the Dassia Bay, while Triton Taverna is a self service, open air cafe serving pasta dishes and gyros.
Guests can try out various water sports, including windsurfing, waterskiing, pedalos and canoeing. There are also three tennis courts on site.
Guestrooms. The hotel has 250 air conditioned guestrooms; all have balconies with mountain or coastal views and softly coloured decor with tiled floors. Amenities include multi line phones, minibars, satellite television and in safes, and bathrooms feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.
Expert Tip. Corfu town is home to many beautiful and historic buildings, such as the Ionian Academy, which can be found in Espianada Square. Originally Greece's first university, the building was destroyed in raids in 1943, but has since been restored to its former glory.
