The Hotel Kalenda Saint Francis is a modern hotel with a white fa�ade lined with balconies set in six hectares of tropical garden, between an 18 hole golf course and a lagoon. The 263 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated in Creole style with yellow floral fabrics and wood furnishings. Amenities include minibars, televisions, hair dryers, telephones and private bathrooms. All rooms have balconies with views of the garden, golf course or sea.
Le Balou serves a wide variety of Creole and international dishes from a themed buffet. The restaurant has a terrace that opens onto the garden and pool area. La Cazasomar also serves international and local dishes in an informal setting with a terrace overlooking the lagoon, and at the Bambou Bar light snacks, sandwiches and drinks are on offer during the day. Guests can work up a sweat on the adjacent 18 hole golf course or on the two floodlit tennis courts and then cool off in the outdoor pool surrounded by palm trees. Water sports facilities include windsurfing, kayaking, catamarans, pedalos and scuba diving courses. After an evening stroll through the six hectare tropical garden, guests can sample Caribbean cocktails at the Lele Bar, to the accompaniment of local musicians. Other evening entertainment includes bingo, limbo dancing, Brazilian folk music and karaoke. Practical amenities include parking (complimentary), laundry facilities, a boutique and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Guests with business needs can make use of the hotel's two conference rooms and a range of audio visual equipment. The beach is 100 metres from the hotel.
