Surrounded by mountains, mangroves and wildlife on the northwest coast of Bali, Indonesia, the Gawana Novus Resort & Spa is situated on Menjangan Bay. Close to Menjangan Island, which is well known for its diving areas, the resort is approximately three hours from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
This rustic retreat, on the border of West Bali National Park and home to a wide variety of plants and animals, offers a tranquil environment and magnificent views of the bay and northern Bali mountains. Atop a natural hot spring that pumps healing waters to the spa and guestrooms, the property is divided into secluded thatched roof bungalows, providing an authentically rural Balinese atmosphere. Amid the luxurious touches, diversions are plentiful, including fishing, trekking, bird watching, horseback riding, cycling, snorkeling and scuba diving, and the resort features a five star diving center staffed with dive masters. After getting up close views of coral reefs, guests can enjoy an array of spa services at the traditional yet modern spa. Soothing techniques include Balinese massages with Indonesian herbs and Javanese Lulur body treatments. At the end of the day, guests can take advantage of the property's west facing locale and enjoy a spectacular sunset and dinner at the Bajul restaurant.
The Gawana Novus Resort & Spa's bungalows boast large verandas with views of lush tropical gardens, spacious sun decks and air conditioned bedrooms. Built and designed with local materials, the d�cor is elegant in its use of native, brightly colored fabrics.
Gala Dinner:
The hotel hosts a gala dinner on December 31, 2007. Guests are charged for the dinner regardless of whether they attend. Fees for the dinner are collected by the hotel at check in.
