Location. The privately run Villa Angela Guesthouse is set in a traditional Polish townhouse, which is two kilometres from the restored historical centre of Gdansk. The beautiful Oliwa Botanical Gardens are five kilometres away. Gdansk's main railway station is three kilometres from the hotel, and Gdansk Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
Hotel Features.Multilingual staff at the front desk can offer express check in and check out, concierge services, currency exchange and the use of a safe deposit box. A buffet breakfast is served each morning, and other features include free parking nearby and complimentary use of a nearby fitness centre.
Guestrooms.The 12 guestrooms, over three floors, feature traditional Polish decor and furnishings. All include balconies, satellite television, direct dial phones, high speed Internet connections, complimentary bottled water, clock radios and desks. Bathrooms have hair dryers and make up mirrors, and there is housekeeping.
Expert Tip.Take a wander through the beautiful streets of Gdansk's Old Town. It's hard to believe that it was almost totally flattened during World War II and has been subsequently restored.

Getting there.Take Bus B at the airport to Gdansk's main railway station. From there take bus 184, 130, 384 or 115 and alight at Wagnera Street. Taxis are available at the airport, and the fare to the hotel is typically 40 PLN. The town is small enough to explore on foot. A commuter train departs from the station on the western outskirts of the Old Town connecting the suburbs and beyond.
