Set on the Bay of Port Elizabeth, the Protea Hotel Marine has panoramic views of the ocean and is situated six kilometres from the city centre. It features 63 guestrooms on five floors, all decorated in soft greens or reds with ocean or garden views. The easiest way to reach the hotel is by car. Rental cars and taxis are available from the airport. A taxi fare to the hotel will cost approximately 8 USD. From the airport turn right into Alistair Millar Drive. Take another right onto La Roche Drive and a right onto Marine Drive right. The Protea Hotel Marine is approximately 800 metres further on from the Shock Rock Pier on the right hand side.
