Location.The chic and peaceful Genesee Grande Hotel stands in the quiet University Hill neighborhood in Syracuse, N.Y., nine miles from the Syracuse/Hancock International Airport. Shopping, entertainment and dining venues surround the attractive hotel, providing a plethora of activities for all visitors. Close to the central downtown area, the hotel is within one mile of Syracuse University, the Carrier Dome, Everson Museum of Art and John H. Mulroy Civic Center Theaters at OnCenter. The Convention center and War Memorial at OnCenter, which hosts a variety of events, are less than two miles from the hotel. Guests may peruse the shops and restaurants at Armory Square or Carousel Center within three miles.
